The easiest way to place an order
is to click the checkboxes in the lists. You then find your records listed in the shopping memo / cart (top menue). This is where you edit your order before sending it. There is no actual online payment at this stage, since we have to check the records of your order first - availability, condition. That´s why even on the final order page there is no need for sensitive data.
Once your order has come in we will send you an invoice with the available records listed and the payment will be done later and not through our website. - You can of course email or phone us, especially if you prefer browsing our download lists offline.
Shipping (LP)
Besides domestic shipping (Hermes, Germany) there is 2 ways (all DHL):
"Economy", ships by air to your country´s postal system, then by normal service to your home, maximum 11 days, usually faster, and considerably cheaper than air mail.
"Premium" ships airmail to your country´s postal system, then by best available service to final destination. All EU shippings are premium anyway, with other countries the difference to Economy service is a few days maximum, and especially with larger orders not worth the money.
Economy- and Premium parcels are insured up to 500 Eur.
Germany: (Hermes) Eur 4,80, over 25LPs 5,90
EU (DHL premium only): basic price 12,50 - 14,50 1st kg (4-6 records), plus 1,00 to 1,50 per additional kg.
Switzerland (DHL economy) : basic price Eur 12,50 1st kg (4-6 records), plus 0,85 per additional kg.
Switzerland (DHL premium): basic price Eur 14,00 1st kg (4-6 records), plus 1,60 per additional kg.
USA, Asia, Canada (DHL economy): Eur 27,00 1st kg (4-6 records), plus 2,35 per additional kg.
USA, Asia, Canada (DHL premium): Eur 31,50 1st kg (4-6 records), plus 5,20 per additional kg.
Australia (DHL economy): Eur 32,50 1st kg (4-6 records), plus 3,25 per additional kg.
Australia (DHL premium): Eur 38,00 1st kg (4-6 records), plus 7,35 per additional kg.
CDs - Germany: (Hermes) Eur 4,80 (up to 50 CDs).
CDs - worldwide: (DHL, tracked letter) Eur 6,50 (up to 4 CDs), Eur 11,00 (up to 8)
We send all CDs registered. For more CDs see the LP tabella and calculate with 6 or 7 CDs per kg, 4 if it is all opera with big booklets. We will of course combine LP and CD orders, if that is advantageous.
This calculation includes the weight of the packaging. However, with a pile of early LP pressings (or big booklet de luxe box sets, whether LP or CD) - nice and heavy - the shipping costs will vary proportionately. We do not charge handling fees. German shipping rates are highly competitive worldwide.
Shipping of 1 parcel (max 15kg) is free for orders
over 40 Eur whithin Germany
over 70 Eur within Europe
50% off the shipping costs (1 parcel 17kg max) for orders over 200 Eur outside Europe.
Reservation and combined shipping of several orders in one go is fine, as before.
Returns
Nearly all records we ship give complete satisfaction. However, it is inevitable that mistakes occur. If a record is incorrectly graded: get in contact, do complain.
Our grading is very conservative and the typical feedback of a first order is pleasant surprise. Still, some perfect records are not as good as others, sound and vinyl quality vary. With old records you must expect an occasional tick or some dust. By now we actually do clean about every record and provide it with a thin extra sleeve to be kept in the original inner sleeve if possible. It is 2nd hand records after all but you could not maintain higher standards than we do. And if there really was a grading mistake, be sure I will take any complain serious and respond promptly trying to inspire confidence in our services again. - In over 20 years now the amount of returns is one in 4 years.
